In the Passion play Easter, the Story of Freedom, the biblical story of Easter is portrayed through mime, dance and drama. In 20 minutes, the viewers are taken into the story as it is written in the four gospels. It all starts at the Last Super. Hope and pain, love and hate, disbelief and compassion are just a few of the emotions that can be seen in the scenes. The final scene leaves the viewer with the wonder of the Resurrection of Christ.
Evil is overcome. Freedom! Easter, the Story of Freedom is performed by a travelling theater company, who has had the opportunity to show this performance in several countries. This year for the first time, the story will be released on video for your online church service around Easter 2021. The recordings are taken in the idyllic old Bellelay Abbey in Jura, Switzerland.
