In this Passion Play, the biblical story of Easter is portrayed through mime, dance and physical theatre. The audience is led through the story with sensitivity. The narrative starts at the Last Supper. Hope and pain, love and hate, unbelief and compassion are just a few of the emotions that can be seen in the scenes. We close with the celebration of Christ's resurrection!
This project was initiated by The Artbeat and Mighty Impulse Movement. Together we form an international travelling theatre company that has already brought this story to life for serverlay years in different countries. This year, the story will for the second time be available on video for your (online) worship service / event around Easter 2023.
The recordings were made in the atmospheric settings of historical Swiss Churches.
In addition, 'Easter Passion' will this year be performed on location.
Especially in these challenging times, art helps to touch people's hearts!
